I was with a group of people last Saturday afternoon and evening. This group was told, in the clearest possible terms, what their eternal mission is here on earth. I wonder how many heard it, how many believed it, how many will act on it, and how many will accomplish it?

I often wonder what my eternal mission is here on earth. If I knew what it was, I would then know the answer to one of the biggest questions of all - "Why am I here?"

I heard it loud and clear! It was definitley the wake up call that I needed. I know I am extremely fortunate to have this laid out in front of me and now I must act on it. That has been my biggest problem - all talk and no action. That must change or else I'll be in the same boat for lifetimes to come.

I heard it, believed it, am already acting on it, and intend to accomplish it. I think we have a good group and if we all work together we will accomplish it.

Mark, I can't tell you how long I have been waiting to DO something. Like Sensei said too, I am an applications person. I detest quacking away about something and just prefer to get going on it.

About a month or so ago, Sensei finally got thru my thick skull that this IS the application. This is the place to DO something.

    It is so cool!

Fantastic! Rhombus, Jen, Gretchen: What did you hear? I am certain Stacey and others would love to hear from you, and hear your perspective. Thank you so much for taking the time to comment. :-)

I would love to hear how others apply their mission to their life.

I would be glad to share my experience. Before the meeting on Saturday, I had the great fortune of having a one on one meeting with Sensei. I have been having some difficulties in my work life and have wondered if it was just the place where I am working or if it also meant that I needed to get out of my field (advertising). I talked to Sensei about the first part of this dilemma and without saying a word about the second he said "there is a reason you are in advertising and I'm going to tell you why..." My purpose in this lifetime is to learn to cut through the fat, filler, glitz of everything and get to THE POINT. Until I do this in my job, I cannot move on. Heck, until I do this in all aspects of my life, I cannot move on to the next lesson. I'll be working on it lifetime after lifetime.

After the session, I was invited to join the meeting. Through this meeting, I quickly realized that Sensei is giving me a chance, an opportunity to apply the principles I have learned and apply them through advertising. But it is advertising and promoting something of a higher value.

    I hope this helps!
